Tyler Durden speaks

You have to be able to answer this question! If you died right now, how would you feel about your life?

Without sacrifice, without death, we would have nothing. You have to know, not fear that some day, you are going to die. Until you know that and embrace that, you are useless.

Self improvement is masturbation. Maybe self improvement is the answer. You could be cursed with the three terrible karmas. You could be beautiful, rich and famous.

The things you own, end up owning you. It's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything.

Sticking feathers up to your butt doesn't make you a chicken...

I do not want to die without any scars.

You are not your job. You are not the money in your bank account. You are not the car you drive. You are not how much money is in your wallet. You are not your fucking khakis. You are the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

Fuck Martha Stewart!!

You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.

Our generation has had no Great Depression, no Great War. Our war is a spiritual war. Our depression is our lives.

We're designed to be hunters and we're in a society of shopping. There's nothing to kill anymore, there's nothing to fight, nothing to
overcome, nothing to explore. In that social emasculation this every man is created.

Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate, so we can buy shit we don't need.
